investigación en física requiere de conocimientos especializados y del recurso a
técnicas experimentales, computacionales o analíticas muy específicas. De ahí
que las conferencias y seminarios sobre algún tópico resultan comprensibles sólo
para aquellos que trabajan en ese problema puntual o en alguno parecido.

algunos circuitos eléctricos sencillos. Este problema, que parece elemental,
está vinculado a una cuestión abierta y conceptualmente profunda que tiene que
ver con qué principio general, si existe, gobierna la termodinámica de sistemas
estacionarios fuera de equilibrio.</FONT></P>

align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman">Enrique Miranda realizó sus estudios de
grado y postgrado<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>en el Instituto
Balseiro. Luego de una estadía en Alemania, se incorporó al Departamento de
Física de la UNSL donde actualmente es Profesor Asociado. Así mismo, es
Investigador Independiente del CONICET con lugar de trabajo en el CRICYT –
Mendoza.</FONT></P>

align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman">Inicialmente sus intereses de
investigación estuvieron vinculados con los llamados sistemas complejos.
Posteriormente se interesó en tópico tradicionales de mecánica estadística. Y en
los últimos años ha estado abocada a la “física didáctica”, esto es, a tratar
problemas interesantes y conceptualmente ricos con un nivel accesible a
estudiantes avanzados.</FONT></P>
