Please note that, as a subscriber to one or more of the AIP journals
listed below, you now have free online access to six years of newly
digitized backfiles for the journals to which you subscribe.  The
free-access period runs from September 1 through December 31, 2000.

For each of the seven journals involved, the new backfiles provide more
than double the number of available online articles.  In all, the
backfiles add nearly 50,000 articles to AIP's Online Journal Publishing
Service platform. For complete details on each journal please see

You have the option of adding the 1991-1996 backfiles to your 2001
subscriptions for a nominal fee of $50 per journal ($75 for our two
"large" journals, Journal of Applied Physics and Journal of Chemical
Physics).  If you wish to acquire the added content, be sure to inform
your vendor to renew your subscriptions "with additional online archives."
This backfile option is also clearly noted on AIP renewal orders.

Please note that subscribers to AIP All, Archival, and Combination
packages will automatically receive the extended backfiles.  These
subscribers do not need to take any further action to ensure continued
access after the free trial period.

Physics of Fluids
Physics of Plasmas
Review of Scientific Instruments

(Applied Physics Letters currently provides online access to the years
1995-2000; the new backfile covers 1991-1994.  Another AIP journal, Chaos:
An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, already includes the
complete online archive since its inception in 1991.)
