The Second San Luis Symposium on Surfaces, Interfaces & Catalysis
Announcement

The final program and abstracts for this conference held at the Hotel
Dos Reyes in Mar del Plata, Argentina from April 3-6, 2000 are
available on:

and includes presenters from approximately 10 nations. Registration
for this conference includes meals, accommodation and attendance at
the conference and poster session and costs $385 for participants from
Latin America in a shared room, and $550 for other participants.  The
themes of the Conference are "Simulation and Theory of Surface
Phenomena", "Experimental Investigations of Surfaces" and "Catalyst
Preparation, Characterization and Reactivity".  The invited speakers

The Conference will be followed by a Summer School, primarily for
students although anyone is welcome to attend, on April 7 and 8 with
the themes "Probing Catalytic Reaction Pathways" and "Synthesis and
Characterization of Model Catalytic Systems" which will be taught by
the invited speakers. This will also be held at the Hotel Dos Reyes in
Mar del Plata and registration ($165, full  and $110 for students)
includes meals and accommodation as well as attendance at the course.
